HARRISON STREET DIY SKATEPARK
Fall 2021
Harrison Street DIY is a skate park in Kansas City built by skaters. At risk of losing the park to neighborhood development, the leaders asked me to create a website to teach about the value of the park and support the effort to save it. They wanted to legitimize the park in the eyes of the public, educate about the history, value, and contribution of the park to the community, and communicate transparently about the risk the community could face by losing the park. The website is an ongoing project.
